Only angler to weigh a five bass limit
Patoka, Charlie Kuebler was one of the few that chose to launch at the Osborne ramp Sunday and fish the other side of the impassable causeway. High water split the field for Sunday's event but it paid off big for Kuebler as he was the only angler to way a five bass limit.
Charlie's limit weighed in at a whopping 21.08 lbs a little over six pounds better than second place Justin Brown. Justin has been on a hot streak this season finishing second in as many weeks, As he and his partner placed second in the H.O.T opener. Brown's four bass weighed 14.98 lbs. And the current points leader Fred Felix was third with four bass weighing 14.20 lbs. Kuebler won $2900.00.
On the Co-angler side Darren New topped all co-anglers with three bass that weighed 9.78 lbs. While Jim (Stoney) Stone took over the points lead with three bass that weighed 8.04 lbs. and Nathan Head was third with two weighing 6.84 lbs.

2009 Point Standings Co-Anglers
Bloomington, Lake Monroe. Weather played a major role in the outcome of the third IBF Invitational event. Although, not severe weather. The heat and humidity compounded by the elevated water levels reduced the field to fifty one that brought bass to the scales. Scott McGlinchey claimed his first win of 2008 by weighing just four bass totaling fourteen pounds four ounces and edging second place Robert Gilliland by less than a pound. Gilliland had a five bass limit weighing 13.58 pounds. Phil Reel had the second of only three limits weighed in. Reel's limit weighed 13.42 pounds and was good enough for third. The points race definitely got a little tighter. Fred Felix continues to lead, but the top five are only seperated by a mere fifteen points. Billy McDonald the 2007 champion is on the move as he tries to repeat and claim the title for the second consecutive year, McDonald gained two places to move up to third only ten points back.. Phil Reel made the biggest jump in points moving from eighth to second place only five points out. The next IBF tournament will be the rescheduled June tournament at Rocky Point August 8th. Followed by the regularly scheduled August 9th Rocky Point event.
