Bassindy.com spoke to McWilliams about his day. " I caught a bunch on fish today. I couldn't tell you how many I caught" McWilliams said.  Most of the Wylie bass are in a pre-spawn stage a lot of the big females have not moved up yet. That's why we are seeing these weights at weigh-in today. His largest bass of the day was a three pounder that missed a stick bait but feel to the infamous Stupid tube on the next cast. He culled up about five times total during the day increasing his weight by ounces each time. Catching keeper size bass on Wylie is not a problem there are numerous fourteen inch bass in this lake its getting those quality fish to bite McWilliams said. The bigger fish may still be crusing the deeper water just waiting to move up.
