Indiana Anglers improve on day two at TBF Championship
" Tommorrow I'm going for broke I'm ten pounds behind and I'll be looking for big fish" McWilliams said. Today I just had a limit nothing special, I caught a ton of fish just not the big ones, they were all about the same size. Tommorrow I'll be throwing the big baits for big fish, A big spook, Carolina rigs whatever it takes. I will also be sight fishing. McWilliams said. Day one leader Brian Travis of N.C is still in command after sacking another limit for a two day total of 31 pounds 4 ounces.
Lake Wylie, The TBF Championship weigh-in has concluded on day two. Terry McWilliams, after weighing five bass on day one. Has brought in another 5 bass limit on day two weighing 9 pounds 1 ounce giving him a total of 20.15 lbs. And advances to the final day. Only the top 6 anglers, one from each division, will compete on Saturday. Terry was the sixth and final angler to qualify and the top finisher from the Northern Division. This also gives him a berth into the BFL All-American.
Mike Seal fishing on the co-angler side was not as fortunate. Although he did weigh another five bass limit weighing 7.13 he moved up in the standings to thirteenth place. He will not be fishing on Saturday. Mike ended the tournament with ten bass weighing 15.14 pounds
The Championship will conclude on Saturday. Anglers will launch at 6.30 am. With the weigh-in scheduled for 3 pm. EST and is held in conjunction with the National Guard Open, also at the Charlotte Convention Center.
McWilliams advances to final on Saturday, Seal ends run in 13th place
