The IBFN held their Top 8 state finals tournament May 10 - 11 at Lake Wawasee. IBFN clubs from all over Indiana sent teams to compete for a shot at making the 12 man state team. Saturday started out under near perfect conditions. With blue bird skies and a slight breeze. Anglers were able to find and weigh-in bass from all over the lake. But Sunday the anglers were greeted with rain and twenty plus mph wind forcing most fishing the main lake to retreat to the canals in hopes of catching their limit. Local favorite Brian Hensley was able to withstand the conditions that mother nature threw at him by bringing in nine bass over the two days for a total weight of 25.16 pounds and claiming the overall win. The state team will now advance to the Northern Divisional at Lake Winnebago August 13-15, 2008 in Osh Kosh Wisconsin. Joining Hensley on the team are as follows
