Christian R. Starke
Christian R. Stark was a small instrument maker & dealer. From 1856-58 he was in partnership with John Albrecht with instruments signed “Stark & Albrecht.”. In 1866 he and his son Christian G. Stark went into partnership with George Kober to found the firm of Stark & Kober, importers and wholesale dealers in Musical Instruments (NYCD1866). By 1868, the company reverted back to Christian G. Stark & Co. It was out of business by 1880. |
