Games Data Collector (GDC)
Be sure to download both the Games Data
Collector AND the Games Data Extractor. Choose either the Access 97 users
version or the Access 2000 users version.
New with Version 1.13 of the GDC is the
BoxScore Display/Print Package. Download the package for details.
You must have GDC 1.13 or higher in order to use Box Score.
The Game Data Collector is a
way for fans to collect and display all sorts of "game-best" stats for
their draft leagues and for their solo replays. Features include: summaries of
each player's statistics against each opponent, game by game stats for players
and teams, streak data on 8 important statistics (Runs, Hits, RBIs, 2B, 3B, Hrs,
SOs, and BBs), "statless" streaks in which you can produce reports
such as how many games a player went hitless, or homerless, etc.
After a season is over, you can
run queries and by entering appropriate date ranges in the criteria boxes, you
can report on such things as who was leading the league at the end of week 5,
week 6, week 7, etc., or at the end of May, the end of June, etc.
Ever wanted to know who
produced the most RBI in a game, or who stole the most bases, or who had the
most Ks, or most anything else, for that matter?
Well, if you're like the rest of us, the answer is yes.
How is the Game Data Collector)GDC) different from the Norwood Career Database (NCD)? The NCD provides season and career-best stats, every one you ever wanted, plus a bunch more you never realized you wanted to see, while the Game Data Collector complements this by providing all sorts of views at the game level.
