Greetings!

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 13, 1913 by 22 African American women at Howard University.   Out of the vision of these pioneering young women, Delta Sigma Theta has grown into the largest African American women's organization in the world, with chapters throughout the United States and abroad.

Southfield Alumnae Chapter (SAC) of Delta Sigma Theta was chartered in 1984 in Southfield, Michigan.  Since its chartering, SAC has conducted programming for the betterment of our community through our sorority's National Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

Economic Development
Educational Development
International Awareness and Involvement
Physical and Mental Health
Political Awareness and Involvement
