NJ6N's D-STAR Chat application for Windows

d*Chat is a Windows based keyboard to keyboard communication application that uses the D-STAR "DV" data capability. d*Chat is used to enable text-based communication between multiple stations on a simplex frequency or through a repeater.

D-RATS: A D-STAR communication tool

D-RATS is a small application designed to provide communication capabilities with D-STAR radios. Original goals were to provide d*Chat-like functionality. It is written in Python using GTK to run on multiple platforms.  The addition to D-Rats of file transfer and the capability to compose, transmit and receive messages in Radiogram, HICS, ICS & other formats led to its selection by Cape May County RACES/ARES, the South Jersey Mutual Aid Group and South Counties Emergency Radio Network (SCERN) as their slow speed chat/data utility.
