2006 EAA Oshkosh RV Builders Family Reunion
Wednesday July 26, 2006 6 p.m.
Camp Scholler

This is information bulletin #3. The first one had some important information on it, so please see here if you did not receive it. The second one is located here.

July 20, 2006

Dear friends:

The car is packed and just about everything fit. This is the final information bulletin for the RV BBQ in Camp Scholler on Wednesday evening. The forecast for Wednesday is 86 degrees for a high with isolated thunderstorms (30% chance) with an overnight low of 69. In other words, it's a typical summer day in the Upper Midwest.

Just two quick notes here before heading to Oshkosh:

1) We are DEFINITELY in the spot mentioned in all material on the Web site. Jeff Orear went to Oshkosh yesterday and staked out the three campsites we'll be using and they are, indeed, on 12th St., between Lindbergh and Elm. There will be yellow signs posted at 12th and Schank Ave. to direct you to our location. For those of you taking the shuttle bus up, you might as well get off at the West End store, locate the sign and follow. We'll have a small table where a volunteer will give you your name tag(s) and we'll fire up the grill around 5:30 or so. Beer, soda, lemonade, and water will be on ice by early afternoon.

2) If there's any change in your status, please let me know now. In other words, if you no won't be attending, let me know today so I can adjust the food order.

Here, just for your information, is the final total:

* 239 people
* 110 orders for chicken
* 124 hamburgers/cheeseburgers
* 126 brats
* 34 hot dogs
* 21 people camping with their airplane
* 45 staying off site
* 44 staying at Camp Scholler

Another addition to the menu, we'll have baked beans to go along with the items above, as well as potato salad, chips, watermelon and dessert of some sort.

If you're staying in Camp Scholler, be sure to stop by when you can.

Have a safe trip.
