It is with great sadness that I am announcing the closure of Chapter PA-U. In part due to the shrinking of membership and current economic situation. I’ve noticed a decline in membership throughout the whole organization of GWRRA. This has impacted other chapters as well as ours. But unfortunately we do not have enough volunteers to fill the minimum needed for the officer positions. Because of these circumstances, our chapter has decided to merge with Chapter “E” out of Belle Vernon. 

I would like to say thank you to all of those from other chapters that have visited our chapter and or participated in our chapter’s events over the years. Our chapter would also like to say a GINORMOUS THANK YOU to Steve and Maria the current owners of the Delmont Dairy Queen. They have been so generous and kind to us the past four years. Not only for letting us use their store as our place for gatherings but also for our bike shows. Steve and Maria are two of the most kind, caring and hard working people that you could ever meet. And we are proud to be able to call them our friends. We wish the two of them great health and happiness in all that life brings them in the future.

Erin and I would like to thank all of our chapter members who volunteered their time and dedication towards making chapter “U” a friendly place to have some fun. In our three years as CD’s we met many new and exciting friends throughout the GWRRA organization. But most of all, we had the pleasure of getting to know all of the wonderful and special people of chapter “U”. We couldn’t be more proud to say we were chapter directors of chapter “U”. May God bless you all in your future endeavors!
