Nestle Field, New Milford
A typical day at Nestle Field in New Milford.
Randy Johnson
Randy Johnson (above, looking much like an ugly pizza delivery boy), stolen from the hapless Blazers in exchange for Jose Rosado and a six pack of cheap beer, became the first pitcher in BDBL history to pitch a no-hitter.
The Litchfield Lightning Front Office
Due to technical difficulties in the Lightning front office, the Litchfield squad was forced to play the Division Series without half of their team.

Geisel Wins!
On November 6, 1999, Phil Geisel does the impossible, upsetting the Los Altos Undertakers with only half a team.
Glander drowns his sorrows.
The OLDS was less kind to Glander, who was forced to drown his sorrows with best friend Sam Adams (left) once again.
OLCS
The 1999 OLCS was a true classic.
OLCS
Both Geisel (l) and Marazita (r) fought a tough battle.
Marazita in deep thought.
Both veteran warriors sweat it out for seven nail-biting games.
Marazita, Geisel shake on it.
In the end, Marazita emerged victorious over Geisel, just as he had done ten years earlier.
CBL trophy
Eventually, Marazita overtook the Southern Cal Slyme in seven games in the first-ever BDBL World Series.  Above, Phil Geisel displays the trophy Marazita won three times in the '80's.
Late Show
After the season, Marazita hit the talk show circuit.  Above, "Late Show" host David Letterman can't believe his good fortune when Marazita presents him with an autographed picture of himself.
