Wicked Wanda's
HALLOWEEN AT KALONA
Located In Goochland, Va
2002
This year I didn't get a lot of pictures, none at night.
Here is a sampling of the haunt
Our welcome sign was front and center
One skelly uses his head for a bowling ball. The bowling pins are bones. The next skelly uses
his head in a game of croquet. Halloween night he held a real croquet mallet. There was also a Robin Hood
skelly shooting at an apple on another skellys head, which he was holding up as
high as possible above his body.
These three jazzy guys played "The Hearse Song" all night! The laidback horn player is playing
a bone painted gold. The guitar player wore cool sunglasses with a microphone.
On the left, a sklelton plays "Amazing Grace" on a gold flute, while on the right, Daddy skelly with his
faux-flame torch searches for his child, a small skelly wearing a nightgown, sitting near a tombstone and reading a book.
This troll is having a snack--someone lost their head....
"Uncle Melvin" is a blowmold skelly slightly roasted. I didn't care for his one-piece hands,
so I made Bic pen hands for him.By the time darkness fell, his homemade coffin was draped in spider
webs and looked quite spooky.
Also on the porch was a six-foot spider web and a SpiderBucky, a dead vampire with requisite stake
and mallet, rats feasting on a severed leg, a talking Bucky/Dougy, and a lab table.
Spooky lights, a plasma ball, a two-headed skeleton, body parts, bubbling potions, shrunken heads,
troll snot, newts eyes, rats, a moving disembodied hand, spiders, brains, black lights, and mysterious
other objects completed the lab table.
There are no pictures of the witch, bloody fountain, dragon house, rabid cat, ghost and more.
Maybe next year....
