My Resume

Welcome to my Web site!

Well you can probably guess from this site's domain my name is Becky Chase.  I was born and raised in New Jersey.  Actually I was one of those unique kids who never moved until they went to college. During my high school years I was passionate about dancing; it ruled my life. Every year I competed in dance competitions, and I was even lucky enough to be scouted out to be one of the half-time performers in the 1998 Pro-Bowl game (a little tid-bit for the football fans). Unfortunately when I went to college I had to cut back on my dancing, but I still dance time to time to stay limber and in shape.

When it comes to education, I am interested in learning anything about medicine, in particular cardiology, diabetes, exercise science, and nutrition.  Therefore, when I went to college, I decided to major in Biomedical Engineering.   I originally had the idea that I would ultimately cure most of the problems associated with diabetes and heart disease when I finished school.  Even though I haven't found any cures yet, I've moved up to the Boston area to be part of the medical breakthroughs occurring there.

Besides going to school and looking for work, I enjoy being active.  In addition to dancing, my recent craze is road cycling.  It started this last summer when I was working on Cape Cod.  If anyone has the opportunity to bike on Cape Cod I highly recommend it.  The scenery is so beautiful and through out the Cape, there are bike paths which take you through town centers, woods and beaches.  I am so interested in cycling and I love it so much I've decided to train this year to be part of a 150 mile marathon in 2009.  If you take a look at my "Cycling Training" page, there will  be updates and links to check out about my preparation for the marathon.

Well, that's my quick over view about myself.  I hope you enjoy my site!
