Preliminary Site Plan for the Town Center

This plan follows the details for the former Volcano Heights Area Plan and emphasizes the centrally located public transportation center, civic areas such as library, senior center, police. Ample off street parking is provided for people who drive to the center to take the Rapid Ride or city buses. It is hoped that public transportation will go across Paseo del Norte to the Rail Runner station on Paseo and I-25. Office parks provide employment for west side residents and serve the industries at the airport and along Paseo del Volcan. Private and public shuttle buses may run from the town center offices to these industries.

Pedestrian friendly residences and necessary retail spaces are provided for the people who live around the town center in the already built residential developments (Longford The Trails, Ventana Ranch, La Cuentista and others).
