As Seen on TV

Last night I did comedy on a talk show. It was my first time doing comedy on TV, so I was pretty excited.

The show was hosted by Cara Kahn and Darron Story and features the best of Kansas City. I was included in the company of Mayor Mark Funkhouser, the creators of Urban Times magazine, Chris Elbow Chocolates, Laura's Couture, and singer Casey Todd.

It was so different from doing comedy in a club, however the response I got was fantastic. I closed with a joke about "The Bachelor" and the place erupted. People have been quoting the punchline to me all day. Overall it was a great night and they already said they want me to come back. I can't wait.

Ralphie May Wrap-Up

I just wrapped up my week with at the Improv Ralphie May from "Last Comic Standing" and "Celebrity Fit Club". It was a great week with most shows being sold out completely. They even added tables to the back of the room for Saturday's shows. Incredible. I've never seen that room so energetic.

Most headliners have to do 45 minutes sets. Ralphie consistently did 2 hours+ every night (late show) and truly gave everyone their money's worth. Friday we went until almost 1:30 AM.

36 and counting...

Happy birthday, Ralph Malph.

If you've read my 101, you know that I share a birthday with Donny Most, aka "Ralph Malph" from Happy Days. If you're too young to remember 'Happy Days', you can 'sit on it'. Today I turned 36 and I don't feel a day over 45.

My friend asked me if my wife was going to give me something 'special' for my birthday. Not a chance. I'm working at the Improv all week so I usually get home pretty late. There's no way I can just wake her up for sex. Besides, she gets mad when I wake her up DURING sex.

From his off-beat delivery to tall tales of his quirky family members, Kansas City comedian Bradley Meehan always delivers a highly energetic, hilarious performance. His talents have recently earned him recognition as the 2005 All Comedy Radio "Funniest Person in Kansas City" and was a finalist in the national Maxim Magazine - Budweiser "Real Men of Comedy" competition.

Bradley can be heard on Sirius Satellite Radio and on 610 Sports in Kansas City, where he makes regular calls and commentary as "Christopher Walken." He is also a member of the 610 Sports Caller Hall of Fame.

Bradley has worked with some of comedy's top performers such as Greg Giraldo, Kevin Nealon, Drew Hastings, Lisa Lampanelli, Robert Hawkins, Ralphie May, Robert Schimmel, Michael Winslow, and Jaime Kennedy.

I speak Italian. You can always find 20 or 30 stray socks under the bed + I like the smell of birthday candles when you blow them out
