Hello! Welcome to the virtual home of Ben and Chrisie Russell.

Chrisie and I spent our October, 2000 honeymoon in southern Florida. We went to the Florida Keys and Everglades. As science nerds, we really enjoyed the Everglades (except those damn mosquitos!). However, the Everglades of today pales in comparison to the ecosystem that it once was. South Florida needs to be preserved as a unique ecological gem. Development and agriculture have forever changed the Everglades. The Keys were excellent, too. However, you'll never find me living in such a vulnerable place. No wonder they need millions in government aid after every storm! There are some places best left to visitation only. Tiny islands in the path of big storms sure make my list.

Five places you MUST visit
to make your Web experience complete (well, not really):

Landover Baptist
Church

Being a citizen of the United States, I'm all for freedom of religion. I don't even care if you worship balogna sandwiches, as long as you keep it to yourself. I'm tired of certain Christian groups trying to force their ideals on this entire country. Luckily, this website exists to piss them off.

Whitehouse dot org

In theory, the United States is a great place. You have the freedom to do so many things (i.e. freedom of religion, see left). Sadly, I am of the opinion that politicians in this country are bowing more and more to special interests with lots of money (again, see left) and are buckling under the pressures of corruption. For all you fans of the system, this web site will piss you off.

Bonsai Kitten

Finally, I love animals just as much as the next person (probably more than the average "next person" considering some of the things I've seen people do to animals). Your tax dollars actually paid to have this "operation" investigated by the FBI's Boston Field Office. This site succeeded in pissing off another segment of American society that drives me nuts. Therefore, it makes my list of worthwhile places to visit.

Good ol' Lock Haven University

Chrisie and I both graduated from this school in 1998. We each earned a B.S. in Environmental Biology.

Nowhere

Brought to you by Dan Narsavage.
Dan is a fellow LHU alum. He was smart and moved out west away from the idiocy that is Pennsylvania. It's pretty in PA, but the people and politics can about drive you insane especially when you work in state government (what am I thinking!?).
