1 - RACHEL², daughter of Richard¹, b. 3 NOV 1639 at Boston, MA; m. Simon Crosby² (see family kk), at Cambridge, MA, 15 JUL 1659, then settled Braintree.

2 - RICHARD1, b. 1611 at England; settled Boston sometime before 1631; member of Church of Boston 1631-2, then dismissed to Braintree Church on 5 OCT 1641; lived at Quincy in 1639; Freeman 25 MAY 1636; married Alice ? before 1634; lived in Boston 1632 to 1641 and later in Braintree, where he was town clerk, deacon, and a leading citizen. His name often appears in Billerica town records, where he never lived, but five of his children settled there. Deputy of the General Court 1655-1680;owned houses and land in both Billerica and Braintree. A member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company (A&HA), Commander of militia in Braintree. His wife died 3 NOV 1690 at Braintree, at the age of 76. He deposed 2 JUL 1668 at age 56. His will was probated 19 DEC 1690; died 5 MAR 1691 at Braintree, MA, age 80.

Peter², bapt. 7 MAY 1637 at Boston (with brother John²); m., Elizabeth Bosworth, 7 AUG 1661 at Braintree, she died 30 NOV 1686; m.2 Mrs. Sarah Foster, widow of Dr. Thomas Foster of Roxbury and Cambridge, sister of Benjamin Parker of Billerica. Second wife died 18 APR 1718 at age 78, a widow, so Peter must have died before APR 1718.

John², bapt. 7 MAY 1637 at Boston; m.1 Hannah French, dtr. of William French¹, she died 9 MAY 1674; m.2 on 31 MAR 1675 to Ruth Ellice, dtr. of Joseph Ellice, d. 18 MAR 1686/7.

Mary², 1 FEB 1642 at Braintree, MA; m. Joseph Thompson.

James²

Josiah², b. 8 JUL 1652, Braintree, m.1 at Braintree to ?? , m.2 Elizabeth Waldo, dtr of Cornelius Waldo of Chelmsford, on 4 FEB 1672/3, at Braintree; moved to Chelmsford; early after second marriage. Josiah became a Deacon; had daughter, Elizabeth³, b. 1 NOV 1674, at Billerica. Josiah died 3 JUN 1701 at Chelmsford.

Sarah², b. ? at Braintree; m. Joseph Crosby¹, brother of Simon¹ (#3 of family kk).
