1 -SARAH³, daughter of John², b. between 1666-77 Ipswich or Andover; m. Samuel Preston, see family (e), 2 APR 1694 at Andover, MA.

2 - JOHN², son of Edmund¹, b. ca 1646 at Ipswich or Topsfield; m. 5 DEC 1666 to Sarah Howe, see family (r), who was mother of first two children and died before 1678; m.2 Mary Post, 1 MAR 1678, the widow of John Post of Woburn, the mother of the rest of John Bridges' children. He died before 1 MAR 1678.

3 - EDWARD (or Edmund)¹, b. ca 1612 in England. At age 23, came over in the "James" in JUL 1635, settled in Lynn, MA. Removed to Rowley, then Ipswich, then Topsfield, MA. Freeman 7 SEP 1639, proprietor. Occupation - blacksmith. The General Court of 26 MAY 1647 ordered him to appear at Court to answer to charges of "neglect to further public service". This concerned his delaying a Mr. Symond from coming to court because of his tardiness in shoeing the man's horse. Married 1st ca 1640 to Alice ? , who died about 1646 after bearing him three children; m.2 Mary ? , who bore him John², and died 24 OCT 1691. He died 13 JAN 1684 at Topsfield, MA.
