1 - RACHEL3, daughter of Simon2, b. 20 AUG 1660 at Billerica, MA; m. 4 AUG 1685 to Ephraim Kidder2, see family (v), at Billerica; d. 14 SEP 1721 at Billerica.

2 - HANNAH3, daughter of Simon2, b. 30 MAR 1672 at Billerica; m. Samuel Danforth3, see family (jj), on 8 JAN 1694/5 at Billerica.

3 - SIMON2, son of Simon1, b. AUG 1637 at Cambridge, MA; m. 15 JUL 1659 to Rachel Bracket2 ,see family (11), at Cambridge; after 1659 settled Braintree, on the north side of Bare Hill; became a large landholder, an inn-keeper, and a leading citizen; removed temporarily at one time to Billerica, was first inn-holder in that town, and Representative in 1691, 1697 and 1698. He died 22 JAN 1725/26 at Braintree. All of his children and his wife survived him; his will dated 7 JUN 1717 was proved 26 FEB 1724/5.

Simon3, b. 1663 at Billerica; m.1 to Hannah ? who died 6 MAY 1702; m.2 to Abigail Parker, widow of John Parker on 16 MAR 1702/3 and she died a widow 31 MAR 1755; lived near the Shawshin River; died before 1755 at Billerica.

Thomas3, b. 10 MAR 1665/6 at Billerica.

Joseph3, b. 5 JUL 1669 at Billerica; m. Sarah French, the daughter of Lt. William French, 6 MAY 1691 at Billerica.

Hannah3, (See #2 Above).

Nathan3, b. 9 FEB 1674/5 Billerica; m. Sarah Shed, dtr of John Shed3, 28 SEP 1706 at Billerica. She died 8 MAR 1746/7 and he died 11 APR 1749 at Billerica.

Josiah3, b. 11 NOV 1677 at Billerica; m. on 2 NOV 1703 to Mary Manning, dtr of Samuel Manning1; he inherited his father's homestead; d. before 1745; will proved 7 OCT 1745.

Mary3, b. 23 NOV 1680; m. John Blanchard1.

Sarah3, b. 27 JUL 1684; m. William Rawson of Braintree on 26 OCT 1706.

4- SIMON1, b. 1608 in England, may have been brother of Thomas (of Cambridge in 1640). At age twenty-six, with his wife, Ann (age 25, married before 1634 in England), and his eight-week old son, Thomas, Simon1 came over in the "Susan & Ellen" in APR 1635, settled Cambridge, MA; a proprietor 8 FEB 1635, town officer, freeman 3 MAR 1635/6, Selectman 1636 and 1638, a husbandman, died SEP 1639, at age 31. His widow Ann married Rev. William Thompson of Braintree, she was widowed a second time when William died on 10 DEC 1666. The inventory of Simon's estate was taken 15 SEP 1645, by John Bridges and Richard Jackson. Widow Ann yielded certain portions she received to the three sons on 22 JUL 1645.

Thomas2, b. 1634 in England; graduated from Holy Cross in 1653, minister at Eastham 1655-1660; m. before 1662 at Easthan, MA, to Sarah ? ; all children born in Cambridge, MA. Thomas died 13 JUN 1702 at Boston, MA.

Joseph2, b. FEB (or DEC?) 1639 at Cambridge, MA; settled at Braintree, where he was probably taken by his mother as a child; m. Sarah Brackett in 1675 at Braintree; representative in 1690, appointed to assist in laying out the Braintree 6,000 acres in 1673; had sons: Thomas3, Simon3, Ebenezer3 and maybe others; he died 26 NOV 1695 at Braintree.
