Mary ? in England about 1615; from Widford and Nasing, England to Braintree as a planter, freeman 2 JUN 1641; taught the Indians under his brother about 1650; sold land with wife, Mary, in Braintree 7 MAY 1662; he died in OCT 1677; estate invoiced 29 OCT 1677; and presented on 13 NOV 1697 by widow Mary.

Philip1, bapt. 25 APR 1602, England; came early to Roxbury, MA; a deacon; he, his wife (age 30) and children - Marie (abt 13); Elizabeth (abt 8); Sarah (abt 6); Lydia (abt 4) and Philip (abt 2) all came over in the "Hopewell" in 1657. He was a member of Ancient and Honorable Artillery Co., Col. in the Mass Militia, a deputy for the General Court from 1654 to 1657; Commissioner for Roxbury. He died on 22 or 24 AUG 1657; will probated 11 FEB 1657.
John1, bapt. 5 AUG 1604 at Widford, England; grad. Jesus College, Cantridge U. 1622; came to Boston in the "Lyon" 2 NOV 1631; known as Reverend and "the Apostle to the Indians"; acting pastor of the Boston Church while Mr. Wilson was away; ordained pastor of church of Roxbury; OCT 1632; freeman on 6 MAY 1631/2; studied language of Massachusetts's Indians so he could translate bible and other books for them; m. in Roxbury in 1632 to Anne Mumford (or Mountford). She died 22 MAR 1682; he died 20 MAY 1690 at 86 years.
Jacob1, bapt. 21 SEP 1606; came early to Boston; deacon; ruling elder; freeman on 6 MAY 1631/32; m. Margery ? ; died before 20 NOV 1651 when will was probated.
