1 - MARY², daughter of Captain William¹, b. 1 APR or 9 MAY 1658 at Newbury, MA; m. at Newbury in 1676 to Dr. John Dole , see family (o).

2 - WILLIAM¹, Capt.; b. 19 AUG 1620, Bristol, England; settled at Newbury, MA., in 1639; m. Joan Lowell, see family (uu), widow of John Oliver, in 1645; first Capt. Newbury militia company, and commander of garrison there; Capt. in King Phillip's War; Rep. 1650-53; Rep. for Hampton 1663 and 1664. Wife died 17 APR 1678. He married Ann, supposedly widow of John Marning and daughter of Richard Parker. She bore him one son, Henry². On a visit to Salem, he died 9 AUG 1687.
