1- SARAH², daughter of James¹, b. after 1637 at Roxbury, Salem or Ipswich, MA; m. to John Bridges², see family (1) probably at Ipswich; mother of his first two children. She died before 1 MAR 1678.

2 - JAMES¹, b. 1605 at England; came over to Roxbury, MA 1637; freeman there, 17 MAY 1637, proprietor; Ipswich jury in 1641 as "James, Sr."; moved to Salem, MA, resident there 1648; moved to Ipswich after 1648; married Elizabeth Dane², see family (ii). She died before him at Ipswich in 1693. He deposed in 1665 at the age of 61. He died 17 MAY 1702 in Ipswich.

James², born ca 1634; m. Elizabeth, daughter of William Jackson of Rowley, freeman 1669.

Abraham², b. 1649; m. Sarah Peabody; d. 1717.
