1 - APPHIA5, daughter of Abner4, b. 1729 at Concord, NH; m. Nathan4 Lovejoy (#25) at Andover, MA on 25 AUG 1747; she appears in the 1790 census, with three daughters in Pepperell; her husband had died in 1783; she died on 23 MAR 1818 at Pepperell at age 89. See Nathan4 Lovejoy (#25) for her children and records of land purchased and sold by her in Pepperell.

4, son of William3, b. 25 JAN 1693 at Salisbury, MA; m. Mary Blaisdell, see family(k), on 14 NOV 1717 at Salisbury or Amesbury, MA; a carpenter at Amesbury in MAR 1728/29; on 24 FEB 1729/30 he sold a house and land, near his father's home in Salisbury, to Gideon Lowell, Jr.; living at Amesbury on 9 MAR 1729/30; went to "Penacook" (later known as Rumford, then Concord, NH); one of the first settlers there; one of the proprietors of "Penny Cook" on 18 SEP 1732; d. 1747/48.

Jacob5, b. 16 JUN 1718; m. Margaret Coleman, both of Concord, NH; int. filed 21 NOV 1743; kept a tavern in Concord; bought a great deal of land from his sisters (that had been willed to them by their father); moved to New Amesbury (later became Warner), NH; resided there in 1775 moved again about 1782 to Rochester, VT; d. in Rochester about 1800.

Zurian5, m. Joseph Farnum of Rumford, int. filed on 27 JAN 1740.

Betty5, m. 1 Samson Colby of Rumford, int. filed on 19 SEP 1742;resided at Hopkinton, NH; m.2 to Ezekial Straw.

Stephen5, m. Abigail Eastman of Rumford, int. filed on 28 JUL 1745; had the first two children to be born in Rumford (Concord); also an early settler of Hopkinton, NH; a member of Roger's Rangers, he was present at an attack on an Indian village (St. Francis), in OCT 1759; when the Rangers were returning from this battle, the group that Stephen was with became separated from the main body, and was never seen again; there has been much speculation over their fate; his son Stephen6 fought at Bunker Hill in the Revolution.

John5, b. 10 SEP 1732; m. Abigail Carter of South Hampton on 2 JAN 1755; had a farm and a tavern at Concord, NH; d. FEB 1804.
