2 - THOMAS3, son of Ephraim2, b. 3 AUG 1700 at Billerica; m. 10 MY 1726 at Billerica, to Rachel Danforth, see family (jj); she died 15 SEP 1764. He remarried on 7 JUL 1767 to widow Susanna Phelps of Andover at Billerica. He died 8 JAN 1791 at Tewksbury.

Rachel4, b. 22 MAY 1732; m. 8 JUL 1751 at Billerica to John Hovey of Malden.

Joseph3, b. APR 1689, Billerica; m. 10 SEP 1712 at Billerica to Dorothy Dowse of Charlestown; was at sea when his father died. He died in Charlestown, MA.
Rachel3, b. 1 APR 1691; married Thomas Taylor at Charlestown on 24 JUN 1714; d. 24 JUN 1715.
Alice3, b. 8 FEB 1692/3 Billerica; m. Benjamin Tompson.
Hannah3, TWIN, b. 2 SEP 1696 at Bradford; m. Jonathan Ballard.

Benjamin3, b. 3 AUG 1702 at Billerica; m. 9 NOV 1731 at Billerica to Hannah Richardson, daughter of Andrew. Later lived in Malden, MA.
Richard3, b. 10 MAY 1705 at Billerica; d. 1773,Dudley, MA. He had a large family. His grandson, Nathaniel5, settled Wardsboro, VT, in 1790.
4 - JAMES1, son of James El of England; born 1626 at East Grimstead, Sussex County, England. Came over to Cambridge, MA as an Ensign, in 1649. He married Anna Moore, see family (mm), ca 1649-50. Lived in Cambridge; received grant for a ten-acre lot in Billerica in 1656; finally located this lot in 1658, and moved to Billerica to settle this land in 1659. This lot eventually grew to become thirty acres of land near the center of town, where he built his home. In addition he acquired twenty-six acres of land, a sixty-acre parcel, thirty-one acres at the head of a brook (is now in Tewksbury), and several smaller lots of land. At the very least, he had acquired one hundred and forty-seven acres in Billerica. An Ensign in Captain Danforth's military company his house became a military garrison in 1676. In the Indian War, he was placed in charge of the Indians at Wamesit; died 6 APR 1676. The inventory of his estate was filed on 1 JUN 1677. His widow remarried to William Underwood of Chelmsford on 17 MAR 1684/5.

Dorothy2, b. 1652 at Cambridge, M; m. to Jonathan Hyde, Jr., 6 MAY 1673.
James2, b. 3 JAN 1653/4 at Cambridge, MA; m. 23 SEP 1678 at Cambridge to Elizabeth Brown, daughter of John Rogers' wife. Wife died 10 AUG 1691, James d. 14 DEC 1732 at Billerica.
John2, born at Cambridge, MA; m. 3 DEC 1684 at Chelmsford to Lydia Parker; lived in Chelmsford; had twelve children. His grandchildren through Thomas3 were supposedly early and active settlers of New Ipswich, NH.
Thomas2, b. 1 MAR 1657 at Cambridge, MA; m. to Elizabeth ? ;a freeman in Watertown in 1690.
Nathaniel2, bapt. 27 FEB 1658/9 at Cambridge; died 7 JAN 1690/1 at Newton, MA.

Stephen2, b. 26 NOV 1662 at Billerica, MA; m. to Mary Johnson, who died of small pox on 17 SEP 1722; they lived in Charlestown, MA; he was a blacksmith. They had 13 children before her death. He died 5 JUL 1748, Charlestown.
Enoch2, b. 16 SEP 1664 at Billerica, MA; m.1 Mary Haywood who died 21 MAR 1742/3; m.2 on 4 JUN 1743 to Hannah Danforth, widow of Samuel, she died 3 OCT 1752. He died 1 DEC 1752 at Billerica. He and family lived on his father's homestead in Billerica.
Samuel2, b. 7 JAN 1665/6 at Billerica; m. to Sarah Griggs of Cambridge, at Billerica, on 23 OCT 1689. They lived in Cambridge and had 10 children.
Sarah2, b. 1 JUN 1667 at Billerica, MA; m. to George Brown.
Joseph2, b. 20 NOV 1670; d. 1683.
