I - ELIZABETH², daughter of John¹, bapt. 25 MAR 1611 in England; m. William Sargent¹, see family (rr), in 1633 at Ipswich, MA; d. before 1670.

2 - JOHN¹, b. 1583 at @t, County Gloucester, England; m. Judith Gater², daughter of Michael¹ Gater , in 1608 at England. Came over in the "Lion", from Bristol, England with Roger Williams, on 1 DEC 1630. John, his wife, Judith and all of his children (with the exception of Lydia, who was -born later), arrived at Nantasket, MA, on 5 FEB 1631, and settled Boston that same year. John was on a committee to determine a boundary between Roxbury and Dorchester, MA, on 18 May 1631; a freeman the same day. Moved from Boston to Ipswich with John Winthrop in 1633/34; representative of the General Court in 1636; was a Sergeant in the War with the Tarrantines in 1631. A Deputy in 1636, a town officer.

John², bapt. 14 SEP 1609 at England; m. 14 DEC 1686 at Ipswich, MA; his wife died 1684 at Ipswich.

Mary², bapt. 3 SEP 1615 at England; m. ca 1636 in MA to Capt.Thorms Bradbury.

Anne², bapt. 3 SEP 1617 at England; died young.

Thomas², bapt. 28 APR 1622 at England; paid in 1634, for services against the Indians by Ipswich; m. about 1643 to Phebe Gould; lived at Topsfield, MA; died 7 MAY 1686 at Topsfield.

Jacob², bapt. in England on 12 JUL 1624.

Lydia², bapt. 3 APR 1632 at Boston, MA; m. Henry Bennett of Ipswich, MA.
