2 - ALEXANDER1, son of RobertE1, b. 1585 or 1561 at Shapleigh Manor, Kingsweare, Devonshire Co., England; m. Marguerite Bloedel before 1605 in England; came over as commissioner for Sir Ferdinand Gorges, from England in 1635 in his own ship, the "Benediction" to Kittery, ME; built a house there; returned to England and died there ca 1650.

5 - ROBERTE3, b. ca 1465 at Yes Tor or Yetton, S. Taunton, Devonshire Co., England; m. Alice Clement before 1488 at England.
