Collings OM2HA (2003)

Here's a Collings OM2HA, inspired by Martin's OM-28. It features an Adirondack (i.e., "red") spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, herringbone purfling, and ivoroid binding around the body. The fretboard, bridge, and bridgepins are ebony, and the peghead overlay is Brazilian rosewood. It also features a bone nut (1.75") and saddle, and Waverly tuners.

Collings are built in Austin, Texas, by Bill Collings and his team of luthiers. They are inspired by traditional designs but "under the hood" are quite modern, employing a bolt-on neck (rather than dovetail joint) and feature two steel rods running the length of the neck. In conjunction with superb workmanship and beautiful woods, these guitars are extremely stable and sound magnificent.
