BE PROUD DAY TREATMENT EDUCATIONAL OVERVIEW

The Be Proud educational component is provided by a teacher and teacher's assistant from the Delaware County Intermediate Unit. Our smaller class size and structured environment presents unique opportunities for increased individual attention and behavior management for our students. Also, we have designed curriculum to serve a variety of educational levels as well as different lengths of time in the program. Our goal for students is a return to “regular school”; therefore, we make every attempt to replicate the regular educational setting. We help students work on exhibiting behaviors and work habits that will lead to success in school and in their community. The program aspires to build an educational foundation for success upon the student's return to their home school. Below is a brief curricular outline of the four major academic disciplines at Be Proud .
