Some of the things that have come out of my smithy:

Hooks are one of the first things that we learned how to forge. I'm finally getting the hang of them...

this Tripod-style trellis will be useful in the garden. It is forged from 5/16" rods. Dorothy helped me by supporting the rods while I was forging the curls on their ends.

This is a trellis I made for Lucy, Dorothy's sister. It incorporates a technique similar to that used for making hinges.

These plant hangers are designed to hold onto the railing of a deck. They were made for dorothy's baby sister linda. Linda went above and beyond the call by going into Canada to retrieve my 170 pound anvil. She saved us a big hassle!

This is a wall sconce made for my brother and his wife. The back-piece was polished by sanding with consecutively finer sandpaper.

This is a tomato stake I made for my father. This was my first success with making a "smith's basket" style weld.

More photos will be posted as they become availabl4e
