3:16—The Numbers of Hope Book Study

Who: Adults of all ages.

What: Fellowship and discussion.

When: Mondays at 7:00 p.m. (September 8, 22, & 29, October 6, 13, & 27 & November 3)

Where: Ralph & Linda Baldwin residence.

Cost: The cost of the 3:16 book by Max Lucado, available at book stores or online.

WIDOWS 3F

Who: Widows of all ages.

What: WIDOWS (We Individually Depend On Women’s Support)—3F (Fellowship, Fun, Food). We’ll focus on our God-given talents to help each other and reach out to others in the community.

When: Fourth Monday of the month from 11:00am to 1:00pm beginning in September.

Adult Home Small Group

Who: Adults of all ages.

What: Fellowship and discussion of the video series, That the World May Know

When: Second & Fourth Sundays at 5:30 p.m.

Ladies Home Small Group

Who: Maximum of three ladies.

What: Fellowship and discussion of the Charlton Heston Bible video series.

When: First Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. beginning September 2nd

Mom’s Time Out

Who: Mothers of all ages.

What: Fellowship and support.

GriefShare

Who: For those who have experienced loss.

What: Video, discussion, and workbook; support and fellowship.

When: Sundays from 2-4pm for 14 weeks beginning October 12th

Mary-Ruth Circle

Who: Women of all ages.

What: Fellowship, Bible study, and health-related discussions.

When: Third Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m.

OWLS (Older Wiser Lutheran Seniors)

Who: Senior adults.

What: Food, fellowship, activities, and more!

When: Second Tuesday of each month, time and location varies.

Scrapbooking

Who: Anyone who enjoys scrapbooking.

What: Time and space to get photos into albums, food, fellowship, and scripture. Bring your photos, a book to put them in, and any supplies that you use. (Come and go!)

Book Study: If You Want to Walk on Water, You Have to Get Out of the Boat

Who: Mixed group of adults and youth.

What: Fellowship and discussion of John Ortberg’s book

When: Tuesdays, July 8 and August 5 at 7:00 p.m.

The Edge

Who: Middle school and high school youth

What: A great place to come and have fellowship, fun, and be safe. Friends are welcome!

When: First and third Sundays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., starting in September.

Pressure Cookers

Who: Anyone, especially those under stress.

What: Bible study and fellowship.

The 40 Days of Purpose

Who: Any interested adult.

What: Let’s explore the question, “What am I here for?” on a 40-day journey using Rick Warren’s book, The Purpose Driven Life, as a basis for our study and discussion.

When: 7 sessions, beginning January 11, 2009, and ending February 22, 2009, on Sundays at 9:45 a.m.
