Hi, I'm Betty Belliveau from Massachusetts and I have been happily involved in the sport of dogs for over 20 years. I started out showing in obedience, followed closely by conformation. In more recent years, I have added agility and herding, as well as teaching others to enjoy these sports. My dogs and I have achieved multiple High In Trials in obedience and almost always 1st or 2nd placements in agility.  My dogs have consistantly qualified for the USDAA Grand Prix and Steeplechase finals and AKC Nationals.  "Mikki" also has a Reserve High In Trial in AKC Herding Started to her credit. Over the years I have finished conformation championships on numerous Shetland Sheepdogs and Border Collies.  I hosted an agility "Show 'n Go" which made over $500.00 to benefit the Gardner, MA Humane Society.

OBEDIENCE

I teach competitive obedience privately at Collinswood K-9 Services in Auburn, MA. Take a look at some of my successful students

AGILITY

I teach Beginners Agility for Collinswood K-9 Services in Auburn, MA on Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons.  I teach Advanced classes at Collinswood on Thursday evenings and Advanced Drop-In on Thursdays at 11am (please call to confirm drop in class for that day at 508 832 93894). Gardner, MA classes are on Wednesday evenings with new groups starting on the first Wed. of every other month. Call Gardner Animal Care Center at 978 6327110.  I'm proud of my students' successes - A few are pictured here.

CONFORMATION

I give private lessons in various locations. I do a limited amount of handing for others. Some very happy winners.

JUDGING

I judged the sweepstakes class for the Belgian Terverun Club in October, 2000.  I have been honored to judge Sweepstakes for The Border Collie Society of America and Tri-State Shetland Sheepdog Club. Take a look at my winners.

 HERDING

A new sport for me. I'm just learning, so no I don't teach herding. I have found myself dumped on my butt and getting flung up close and personal with the fencing. My dogs are much more talented than I am! Both "Mikki' and Nyna have their Herding Started title on sheep. Here are a few candid photos.

FLYBALL

Flyball is my newest adventure.  At our first tournament, Mikki earned her FDX and Chigger & Nyna got their FD titles.  They now have their FDCH & FDX titles, respectively.
