Welcome to this web site.

I really should be more active here. I have added a collection of pictures that I took at the Sister's Oregon 2011 Quilt Show. I did not adjust any pictures, other that orientation, so the sun/shade combination can create havoc to the images. There were 1200 quilts or various sizes and designs and I have only taken a small percentage of pictures. I hope you enjoy the images I did get. If you would like to see a larger image, let me know as the images have been reduced for this site.Sept. 4th, 2010
It took a while to get the pictures oriented correctly and to post a few comments. Our August vacation took us to Spokane, WA, Kalispell, MO and Wolalla State Park in Oregon. This was a 2 week trip and provided us with some exciting new adventures, like passing yourself as you made corners on the roads of Idaho. I loved the areas we vistited, I think partially because they lacked the crowds at home. We spent much of the trip over 4 thousand feet elevation, and on some days driving we would change our elevation four or more times. Some of the paases were at 6000 feet, other times we would drop from 4500 feet to 500 feet and immediatley climb back up to 4500 feet. We went through Rattlesnake Pass, visited several towns 3 blocks long, and stopped at almost every quilt store along the route. Of course we then needed to stop at a matching brew-pub to keep daddy happy. We had thunderstorms off and on the entire trip. Lots of lightning and rain, for about an hour, then it would clear up for 2-4 more hours. Not every day, but a little more often than we would have preferred.July 21st, 2010
I really should update this site once in a while. I'm trying to learn PHP but Comcast doesn't allow that. At least I could play with CSS a little more. The whole point of this update is to show pictures of the 2010 Quilt Show in Sister's Oregon. Lots of quilts, I hope you enjoy it. If you would like a single picture of higher resolution, drop me a line and I'll get it for you.May 20th, 2009
Getting ready to leave again, so I loaded the pictures from Uncle Bob's Birthday party. Lots of family and friends. They posted a lot of pictures from his racing days. Okay, he really hasn't stopped racing. He went from cars in the 1950s to motorcycles in his 50s to tractor pulls and racing, and now he races in a 2 person team. (They are both old.) It was great seeing them all again. I had no idea which kids belonged to whom, hell I couldn't even figure out most of the spouses of my cousins. Enjoy the pictures, I'll post more as I get them from Steve.2nd of May 2009
Went to LA in April to visit Melissa and took Jeremy with us. It was a 16.5 hour drive, even at 80 mph most of the way the California. Visited Universal City and 6 Flags on the 2 hottest days of the year, over 90 both days. Played my first game of beer pong with Jeremy as my partner. Sent Jeremy home via plane Friday, and Barb and I headed home via Reno. Didn't lose much and had a good time.16th of March 2009
Beware of the Ides of March. Was at Kahneeta for the weekend. Barb was working and I got to play, okay, I helped a little. Lost money in the casino, got 27 holes of golf in, took a hike up a hill and actually read a whole book of fiction. A nice long weekend, Thursday through Sunday. Went over Mt Hood to get there, but a storm blew in while we were there. The Mountain got 2 more feet of snow at the pass with blowing wind, so we came back the long way, through the gorge, just rain there.22nd May, 2008
Okay, I've really been lax at getting stuff up here. I have been posting more regularly at my blogspot, but that is only wood related stuff. Here are some pictures of our cruise to the Bahamas, until the camera died. I've also got pictures of Melissa's Graduation and the trip to Las Vegas afterwards (different camera).

I was asked to throw up the pitures from our visit to the Sisters, OR Quilt show. Here is a link to their web site:
http://www.sistersoutdoorquiltshow.org/. Use the link on the side to go see our pictures. Remember, I only took a few pitures compared to the number of quilts there.
I've no idea how many quilts are there, but there are several thousand people. The sun is hot so start early. The quilt prices went from $150 to $10,000.
If desired, I have larger images of all of these. They are reduced to fit on the web site and not choke some networks. Please enjoy.

I was all set to copy new pictures up the the web page site when I discoverd that comcast has a 25M file size limit. So I re-did this page to show only the most current pictures for you to look at. The best I'll be able to show is one year at a time.
I hope you enjoy it anyway.
If you want to see more current info, I'm trying to write some at http://bgoodway.blogspot.com
