Must meet all requirements based on 5^th grade scores.

Or

Placement can be made after the beginning of school and prior to the end of the first nine weeks based on pre-test performance, classroom performance, and/or 6^th grade 1^st nine weeks Benchmark Assessment

Math 7/8 Placement Criteria

·          To remain in the Accelerated Content Math Courses, students should have at least a “B” test average and Exceeds Standards on grade level Math CRCT.

·          Students may move into Math 7/8 from Math 6 provided they have an “A” test average for Math 6 and Exceeds Standards on grade level Math CRCT.

Accelerated Math I Placement Criteria (2007-2008)

·          To remain in the Accelerated Content Math Courses, students must have at least a “B” test average and Exceeds Standards on grade level Math CRCT.

·          All other students will be placed in Math 8.
