Hey! Who are YOU going to vote for? As a fellow American, it most certainly IS my business. It only becomes YOUR secret if, and when you get to the polls. So, why did you choose the party or candidate you picked? Are you an informed voter, or just another one of those passive, brain-dead, go-with-the-flow zombies, who tries to keep up with the latest fad? So, what exactly was it that captured your fancy? Was it their sex appeal? Maybe their hair style? How about peer pressure? Or, perhaps your one of those spineless types, who are to insecure to vote on anything other than that which you perceive is going to be the “winning Team”; regardless of being for better or worse! Do you even know an issue from your asshole, or are you one of those know-it-alls, who gets your facts from talk-radio and late-night comedy TV shows? Question... Every time you hear the words “terrorism” or “axis of evil”, do you bang your head, ducking under the kitchen table, or piss yourself on the way to the hardware store, to get your trusty plastic wrap and duct tape? Does the phrase “code orange”, make the hair on the back of your neck stand up, and send you running through the streets, like Paul Revere, but only with a bucket on your head? Or, perhaps you simply barricade yourself inside your home, and cower in a corner, while praying to your new Texas state quarter and your coveted World Trade Center medallion, minted from pure silver recovered from ground zero! Have you bitten your finger (and toe) nails down to their cuticles, polished off all the liquor in the bar, and hit your doctor up for some nerve pills, while waiting in anxiety to vote for 4 more years of safety and security; under the same leadership that brought you the last 4? If so, get a God damn grip! If you resemble any, or all of the above remarks, your not alone. Your among the naive half of the public, who is misbehaving exactly the way that Uncle Sam wants you to, and wishes there were a lot more like you. Ok, so you didn’t just get off the fucking boat yesterday..., so how in the hell did you get to be so brain-washed then? The answer is simple. In 2000, we the people, sent Al Gore a message that we have little respect for a candidate, who stands by a President who has no respect for the word of law. Many of us made this clear when we voted for Bush. Unfortunately, we found out, after it was too late, that there is something seriously wrong with the “right”! Mind control is not a conspiracy theory, but a political fact of life; that, with the aid of media outlets that are owned and controlled by a hand full of giant corporations, has been in practice for decades. In a few minutes, you’ll find out just how clever this tactic has become lately. We were told that the Patriot Act was nessesary to enhance intelligence capabilities, in order to prevent further incidents like 9/11. The truth of the matter is, this Act was intended to be available as a tool to help stifle American civilian resistance to corrupt foreign policy. Our government had more than enough intelligence to prevent the 9/11 disaster, but for purposes of their own design, they simply chose to ignore it (see “w199i” on google ). First of all, contrary to popular belief, the President of the United States IS NOT, nor ever has been, the most powerful man in the world; and thank God for that. Our forefathers designed this government specifically to prevent that scenario from playing out. No thanks to the Patriot Act however, he someday could be. The truth is, dominant governments and their global policies are dictated by a handful of the worlds most financial elite (billionaires and trillionaires), heading powerful global industries. Second only to the banking industry, in this category, are the oil industry and the U.S. military industrial complex. It goes without saying that once “big money” American oil companies began running out of reserves, they needed to take control of supplies elsewhere, simply to survive. It also goes without saying that without expansive war conflicts in which to supply, the military industrial complex also seizes to exist. “National Security” has come to mean the “Financial Security” of the bottom lines of a select group of global industrialists. There for, it is only natural that these two industrial giants would join forces, with help from foreign policy “think tanks”, to keep the wheels of profit and progress in motion. Remember Cheneys’ Secret energy policy meeting, and the Haliburton fiasco? Then, there’s the war on terror. How clever to declare war on an idea. That is what terrorism is. One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter; and a war against such an idea, may never end. That should keep the toy makers cranking out bombs and bullets indefinitely. As for Bin Ladin, Bin Ladins are a dime a dozen and we have an uncanny knack of being able to flush one out of the wood-work when ever we get bored. Through the use of the media outlets, which they also own, they control the American mind set to such a degree, that they are then poised to capitalize on any lucrative opportunity that comes along, with limited public dissension. They’re vast wealth puts enough preferred people in congress, to make sure that the game is able to be played their way, an to write legislation designed to limit resistance to their plans, from watchdog organizations, to as little as possible. Their bottomless pockets then also fund the campaigns of the candidates they will install in the White House as President. This person will then serve little purpose, other than to be “the man with the keys to the toys”.
So why the scare tactics, you ask? Try and keep up, will you? Saudi Arabia has the largest oil supplies in the world, but they recently told us to pack up our toys and go home. We couldn’t bomb the shit out of them, because the rest of the world would never stand still for it. It would be like the biggest bully on the block, stomping the heck out of a puppy. The second largest supply is in Iraq. Several nations despise that regime, but the idea still had to be sold to the American people. We’re a materialistic people, but we’re also a fare-minded people; and our government can’t just march off to war, without a clear mandate from us. This called for something so tragic, that it would whip us into a submissive “let’s go kick ass” frame of mind. 9/11 was it. Now, even though the terrorists came from Saudi Arabia, we had to be made to believe that it was Iraq who attacked us, so they made it up as they went, along and we bought it, hook, line, and sinker. The rest is history. While you’re clinging onto the current administration for dear life, in this supposed terror filled “New World Order”, consider the following; If you were paying the least little bit of attention to the propagandic sound bites, between the spectacular footage segments, during the 9/11 media extravaganza that ensued; you should have gotten at least a tiny bit suspicious by the time we got to 9/13. Even someone with the IQ of a pet rock, would have smelled something fishy. Dispite being tailed by the FBI during his get-away flight over our heartland, D. B. Cooper was never found, neither was the millions of dollars he extorted from the Feds. The Zodiac Killer was never cought, even though he taunted the police and even told them where to find the next body, BEFORE each murder. The 3 escapees from Alkatraz were never found, not even their bodily remains. And, if not for his own brother eventually turning him in, after a 21 year bombing spree, Ted Kazinski would still be on the loose, blowing up perseived representatives of fashist capitalism. All together, there are more than a dozen such unsolved major crimes. Many of which have been on the books for decades, and examined by some of the best investigative minds in the country. But then, 9/11/01 rolls around, all the sudden a law enforcement miracle occurs. I mean a TV evangelistic, healing type miracle. Even before all the dust had settled, the Feds got their men, apparently ALL of them! Despite the total lack of fingerprints, DNA, flight data recorder boxes, surviving human witnesses, pre taped confessions, turn-coat stool pigeons, mid-crime photos or videos, or any other immediate physical evidence; yet they solved the whole capper in only a couple days! Absolutely amazing! Before the smoke had cleared, they had the full names, faces, background history, and points of origin, of not just 1, but 19 individuals, from separate backgrounds, who were all totally disintegrated amongst four separate plane crashes, all occurring on the same day! And, I have a dozen mother-load oil fields for sale... in North Korea! If, by now, I haven’t lost you yet, you’re probably saying to yourself “what a delusional raving lunatic”, but the jokes on you, as you’re about to find out who has really been the fool. Go to your favorite search engine, (I recommend Goggle, but any will do), and type in w199i , and brace yourself for a real shocker. After you review what you are about to find, then ask yourself these 2 questions: # 1. Why are we really in Iraq? And, # 2. What really happened on 9/11? The “war on terrorism” is 1 part retaliation for American greed and past aggression, and 9 parts political propaganda for the purpose of conducting psychological warfare on the general public. If common sense was able to prevail, one would quickly realize that the idea that “America is under attack”, is little more than a figment of ones’ imagination. Take Israel. They know terrorism, and they get hit on the average of once a week! That’s more than 50 times a year, in a country smaller than the majority of our individual 50 states, with a world renowned intelligence service, superior to ours; and yet they are attacked regularly. On the other hand, our boarder crossings are only sparsely guarded, only 5% of our inbound shipping containers and air cargo is inspected, and millions of illegal aliens are permitted to enter our country each year. It’s been over 150 weeks since 9/11/01 and not so much as a misguided firecracker has gone off over here, even though our country offers more than 50 times the potential available targets then can be found in Israel . It’s not like we haven’t been asking for it, or anything. You might think we’re constantly under the gun though, because every time Bushs’ performance ratings go down we begin to hear erroneous reports of pending terror, sometimes accompanied by questionable tapes and videos; and , the “CODE ORANGE” flag goes up! Where the hell are these damn terrorists? Where’s the human suicide bombers, the subway Gassers, the car and truck bombers, the train wreckers, the mass machine gun assassins? Bush said, “bring ‘em on!” So, where the fuck are they? THERE AINT NONE! And don’t say “anthrax” either. That shit came from a lab over here, and no terrorist group has ever claimed (bragged) responsibility for it. I’ll tell you where they are..., they/re in the Pentagon, the “neo-con” think-tanks, The State Department, and the Justice Department! The Websters dictionary defines a terrorist as, an entity which conducts acts of violence to achieve political goals. You figure it out. You’re probably wondering why I didn’t mention the White House. Simple, this President is not in charge. They tried to pull this “invade Iraq” bullshit when Clinton was in office, but he was too smart to fall for it. It’s the corporate puppeteers who run the show, and the only way to stop them, is to take away their puppet! That’d be George Bush. The Department of Homeland Security is another joke. Just what the hell is that anyway? Didn’t we already have that base covered? Condi Rices’ title is “National Security Advisor, not “International” Security Advisor. What the hell do we need a “Homeland Security Chief” for? What’s the difference? Isn’t our Nation, also our homeland? . That must have been Georges’ idea of “making government smaller”. What it really was, was a way to include his buddy and earlier proposed 2000 running mate, Tom Ridge, in his cabinet after all; and it’s about as useless and fruitless as the government appointed 9/11 Investigating Committee. What you should be wondering is, why only us? As if we ALL just got off the boat yesterday, the Bush regime would have us believe that Easterners hate us because we are “free”. Give me a fucking break! Half the world lives in one form of a democracy or another. What about Canada, or Mexico, or any number of other friendly or neutral Nations? No-ones knocking their shit down. We’re told that it’s our “freedom”, that Moslems hate. Bullshit! Most Moslems around the world, are just as free as we are. If that was really the case, they would have gone strait for the Liberty Bell, The Constitution center, Independence Hall, and most especially, The Statue of Liberty. Well, guess what...? there all still standing. No-one so much as laid a finger on them! It’s not about freedom, or the West. It’s about the greedy aggressive foreign policies of the U.S. government. There’s one more point I’m going to make, before I piss you off completely. It seems that every time someone starts feeling a spark of courage, and begins coming out of their shell, or shelter, and proceeds to question policy; they immediately get bombarded with asinine accusations about being “unpatriotic”. Oh, how I’d love to grab hold of one of those flag waving pansies. I’m reminded of the cartoon where Wild E. Coyote hides under old glory, just as his world starts to fall on him, even though he’s the one who made it fall in the first place. There was a time when the flag stood for something special. As of late, it’s been reduced to apparel accessories for PUSSIES! The majority of those mindless criticisms seem to come from a common source of people; inbreed, hillbilly red necks. If your not one of them, then you won’t be offended. If you are one of them, then shame on you! There’s nothing patriotic about the Patriot Act, and the only true acts of patriotism I’ve seen in the last 4 years, were the voices of dissension against our governments’ policies . Ah, but now you say we don’t support our troops? Keep it up numnuts! That quagmire, refereed to as “Iraqi Freedom”, is nothing more than another Vietnam, and the whole world knows it! That’s why half the globe is giving us the finger now ! We must be a real thick bunch, because we didn’t learn a damn thing in the 60's’ and have to be taught all over again. In any event, the best way to support our solders now, is to BRING THEM THE HELL HOME! I cant wait till our country straightens up and starts to fly right, because I’d love nothing more, and look forward to the day when I can start hanging my flag right side up again. ELECTION 2004 - WHAT’S YOUR EXCUSE?
I’m talking to the 50% of you qualified American voters, who simply don’t take the time to cast a ballot; and the other 50% of you who never even took the time to register! I’m referring to all you turkeys who bitch in the supermarket check out line, while getting your education from Soap Opera Digest or a trashy tabloid, instead of Newsweek or the Wall Street Journal. You chumps who slur your uninformed opinions over a beer mug, at the corner bar. You lazy couch potatoes, who would rather cuss the shit out of your TV sets, from the comfort, convenience, and relative safety of your sofa; instead of finding out what’s really going on via the internet and the local town hall. And finally, all you smart-ass punks who can find more excuses not to vote, than Clear Channel has media outlets. Over the years, I’ve probably heard them all. Just once, I’d like to hear something believable, like: “my absentee ballot didn’t arrive in time”, “there was a police barricade blocking me from my polling place”, “when I got there, I found that they removed my name from the registry”, or, “at the very last minute, they took my candidates name off the ballot!”. Now these are plausible, perfectly illegitimate reasons why someone might not have been able to exercise their right and duty to vote. Instead, I keep hearing the same old lame bullshit! How many of these excuses have you used in the past? “My one little vote doesn’t matter”, “the electoral collage is rigged”, “my candidate has no chance of winning”, “there all crooks anyway”, “my voter registration expired”, “I had to work late on Election Day”, “I’ll be out of town on Tuesday”, “I already voted last time”, “I had a bad cold”, “I couldn’t catch a ride”, “I forgot what day it was”, “I never voted before and don’t know what to do or where to go”. Or, maybe your just one of those nice passive assholes who’s weak cop out is, “I just don’t get involved in politics”. Rrrrr! Pardon me while I take a bite out of my fucking keyboard! Personally, I think most of you are just foolish and lazy, while the rest of you don’t know an issue from your asshole!
There are literally millions of idiots out there who don’t have half the potential smarts you have, and their fucking things up for your future, and mine, with their uninformed, “pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey” votes; while you just sit there doing nothing, and let your ballot go uncast, to compensate for it! You aught to be ashamed to call yourself an American; and when you carelessly let others make potentially permanent life altering political mistakes, without so much as raising a finger, or a pen, to counter them, you strip yourself of any moral right to complain about the after effects of the respective election. The 2000 election was decided by only a measly 500 + votes, remember? Well, this one promises to be even closer. That’s why EVERY VOTE COUNTS!... Even yours! If everyone else was as lazy or irresponsible as you, we’d be living in a dictatorship, and if the Patriot Act gets renewed, we may end up there eventually anyway! On the other hand, if everyone out there like you, would at least take a modest interest in the future of our democracy, all those millions of additional single little individual voices would collectively add up to positive change.
Ok, you see the error of your ways, or maybe your completely innocent of the above charges, but...now you can’t tell the two parties apart. That’s no excuse either. While it truly is getting harder to tell the two major parties apart, that’s because they’re both funded by the same giant cooperate interest. In this case, you need to examine the history of the individual candidates themselves, and sometimes this requires a tiny bit of investigative work; as some skeletons (or skulls and bones) are hidden deeper than others - even “top secret”. If you had you done your homework, you would have discovered that there are two distinctive differences between Bush and Kerry. One is the Vietnam experience, and the other is 9-11. No matter how much money the cooperate PAC’s give to Kerry, they can’t erase his memory of a war that should have never been. His record is pretty much an open book, and it doesn’t matter how many booboo’s he got, how he got them, or who kissed them. The only thing that really matters is that he voluntarily laid his ass on the line, believing he was defending our country, to get them. Bush, on the hand never dodged a bullet for America, nor put himself in harms way to defend it. The 9-11 story is a bit more cloudy, and so is the Bush history. To make a very long story short, the 9-11 investigation was a sham, the Iraq war was perceived, and illegal as hell; and I’ll stop just barely short of calling the 9-11 tragedy a vast conspiracy. Instead, I’ll just point you to the evidence and let you decide. Go to your favorite search engine, such as Google.com, the in their search bar, type in “ w199i ”. It will take you about 30 minutes to digest enough information to realize what really happened and why. By this time, you’ll be armed with enough knowledge to become an involved informed citizen. You’ll even be smarter than many of your friends and neighbors. The only thing left to do now is to get you and your newfound knowledge to the polls. Then perform your civic duty. We wouldn’t have to put up with these irritating, frustrating, split-decision elections we’ve been plague with lately, and eventually you’d have a lot less to bitch about. George Bush constantly reminds us that “our nation changed on 9/11". He’s right! Over 3000 people died needlessly, as a result of careless foreign policy, even though our government new it was coming. The aftermath was then used to instill undo fear in the hearts and minds of 50% of Americans. Unsubstantiated claims of foiled terror attempts and a color coded alert system, now keep us on the edge of our seats. Bin Ladin was permitted to escape (see goggle for “w199i”), while the real war objective for oil ensued. For the first time in almost 40 years, we are loosing previous soldiers in an illegal, needless and costly war. While our government remains solely focused on the mess we made over there, our economy, infrastructure, and entitlement programs continue to deteriorate here at home. Half the world now views us in a negative light and our reputation for being the worlds guiding light, has been ruined. Here at home,. We’ve squandered the largest surplus and created the largest deficit in our history, (both at the same time). Seniors can no longer save money on Canadian prescription drugs. Social Security is now in jeopardy . Oil and energy prices have hit record highs. Manufacturing jobs are all but extinct and service jobs are being outsourced by the thousands. Bankruptcies have hit an all time high. Unless you work for the oil industry or the military industrial complex, your more than likely not doing as well as you used to be. In fact, Americans in general are not as healthy, wealthy, or safe, as they were 4 to 8 years ago. To add insult to injury, the ill founded Patriot Act, places almost ALL of our hard fought constitutionally amended rights in danger, and the Bush regime threatens to make that a permanent reality, and further jeopardize our privacy and freedoms with their proposed Patriot Act II ! Yeah, the world did change on 9-11, but you can change it back! The 2000 election was finally decided by only 500 and some odd votes. This election promises to be even closer. Your one vote has more power and meaning than you could ever have imagined. I t could literally change the world! For the sake of the future of our Democracy and the restoration of our countries well being, please don’t let this opportunity pass you by, or you may be forever sorry you did. There is a world super power, far greater than ours. Whether or not you’ve taken the time to realize it, or are wise enough to acknowledge it, there are two distinct powers watching over things. One is the force for good, and the other is a force for evil. Depending on the culture, nationality, and ethnicity, these forces are identified by a variety of names: Ganesha, Buda, Allah, or Lucifer, Satan, Belzabub...,you get the idea. In the eloquent words of Mohamad Ali,”rivers come in many names, but they’re all of the same water”. Most folks in the western world refer to the powers of good and evil, as “God” and the “Devil”, respectively; and the study, and/or worship of these deities, is referred to as “religion”. Many religions around the world, acknowledge the existence and significance of Jesus Christ, in varying degrees. In the western world, most of us credit him with sacrificing his life to pay for our sins, and consider him our lord and savior. This belief is called “Christianity”. Christianity comes in various forms, or denominations, ranging from the orthodox, to the occult. Members of these congregation have evolved into a wide array of followers, ranging from: fanatics, extremists, and radical fundamentalists, to fair-weather worshipers, hypocrites and pseudo-Christians. Organized gatherings of such peoples, are called churches. According to the Bible, church members are required to give 10% of their wealth to their church. These gifts, or charitable contributions, are biblically referred to as tithes. Originally, these financial contributions were used to maintain the warship facilities, and tend to the out-reach needs of the local community. Due to the initial “non-profit” stature of these churches, the government granted them “tax exempt” status. Modern technology and marketing techniques allowed church leaders to solicit, proselytize, or advertise to increasingly larger segments of the public. As congregations grew, so did church revenues. It wasn’t long before greed yielded it’s ugly head, and political theological corruption was born. Throughout history, it’s been said and proven that “money is the root of all evil”, and so has been the case in the religious world. Collectively speaking, annual revenues of religious organizations runs in the billions of dollars. This vast, and largely unregulated wealth has spawned it’s own political power. Church hierarchies now retain government lobbyists to make sure that legislated policies remain in their favor, while they come up with new ways to raise even more capital. Some of these methods include tactics which range from unscrupulous to fraudulent. Among the largest culprits, are the TV evangelists, who “prey” (ha ha), on the life savings of the poor and in firmed. Their most effective tactic is to display a spectacle, consisting of payed talent, who pretend to be in firmed, and then are seemingly miraculously cured of their afflictions, merely at the touch or suggestion of the “faith healer”. Witnesses to such an extravaganza, then are urged, and feel compelled to donate generously, so that they too might be alleviated of whatever problems are ailing them. Several of these crooks have already been indicted in recent years: Jim Baker, Jim Whitington, and Jim Swaggart, to name just a few. I personally know of a case, where a 79 year old bed ridden widow, who was conned into surrendering the $3000/00 in her checking account, along with cashing a $50,000.00 savings bond that she had in the bank. This represented her entire lives savings, all for the promise that God would heal her. It left her nothing left to pay for her modest one room apartment, groceries, medication, or in-home nursing care. I was glad to see him do time, but it didn’t make up for the undo suffering, he put her, and her care givers through. God certainly does not approve of this deceptive thievery, and these people are not true Christians. They’re pseudo-Christians, and these evangelists are the type of people who are counseling our current President. The political spectrum has divided itself into three categories: “Liberal/DEMOCRAT”(lenient, forward thinking) a.k.a.”the left”, “Moderate”(flexible, not favoring either side) a.k.a.” centrist/MODERATE”, and “Conservative/REPUBLICAN ”(strict, old fashioned) a.k.a.”The Right”. Because of thief moral stance on a couple lifestyle issuer, the Christian movement has adopted the right wing, to act as it’s “poster child”, and visa-versa. These natural allies routinely scratch each others back, i.e., legislative favors in return for financial and voter support; and political propaganda is often employed by both sides. The morality and credibility of the Christian right, and the Republican party, is slowly eroding, and there’s something seriously wrong with the “Right”! How can they claim to be “Pro-Life, when they support illegal and unjust wars, where innocent men, woman, and children, are killed by the thousands, and dismissed as merely “collateral damage”? How can George Bush claim to be “pro-life” when, as Governor of Texas, he signed more death warrants than the other 49 states combined? Some among the executed, have sadly, since been found to have been innocent, after modern forensic technology determined their murder was unwarranted. And, how can the church support a regime, who’s Patriot Act has the propensity of restricting ALL of our freedoms, including, (at there convenience), our freedom of religion! Not only is the Christian right guilty of supporting a failed President, but there are major failures in the churches themselves. How in hell can they claim the moral high ground, when they indulge in money laundering, ministers officiating over gay marriages, and priests and bishops molesting children? What moral authority does the church have now, to dictate who does, or does not take communion? Further confusing things, is the fact that many so-called “Christians”, are naive and easily lead, as if they no longer have minds of their own. They can easily be made to support or reject a given idea, merely by the power of suggestion from their spiritual leaders. Some of these suggestions are more preposterous than others, and men “of the cloth” have been known to even stretch the truth, from time to time. “Thou shall not what?”. In 1992 Pat Robertson, of the 700 Club, told the world via TV, that God spoke to him and assured him that Bush 41 was going to win a 2nd term. History bares evidence that someone was lying, and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t God. Well, he’s at it again. Before another global audience, earlier this year, this false profit proclaimed similar revelations for Bush 43. If the current poles and voting trends are any indication, then Pat must be halusenating again. Perhaps he’s spending too much time in his African diamond minds, and the lack of fresh air, has been effecting his thinking. Yet, millions of Americans continue to religiously take their words as Gospel. Well, lets see what the good book does have to say. It says that in the end times, there will be wars. Bush guaranteed we would have wars. It also mentions “rumors” of wars. That would be the numerous unsubstantiated reports of foiled terrorist attacks, we now get regularly. It also warns us to beware of false profits. We’ve already heard from some of them, more than once. The good book also warns us that, in the end times, the church wll fall, and it certainly is falling. In addition, the Bible clearly states that in these times,”millions will be fooled”, and so they are! Finally, the scriptures warn us that “vengeance is mine, saith the lord”. Many wonder if this past hurricane season was his way of telling us something. I don’t suppose God is too happy with us lately. We’ve trashed his globe, Jews deny the gift of his only son, we commit crimes in his name, and scorn his name as we systematically try to remove evidence of his name from our daily lives. As we proceed through the uncertainty of this new millennium, one thing is clear; all you need do, is look at the world around you, and you’ll realize, “the end is nie”, and we would do well to start listening more to him, and less to those who profess to be speaking for him. After 4 years in office, the only thing George Bush has to fall back on is 9/11, and his administration even lied about that, (see “Google” on line for “ w119i “ ). His only offense against John Kerry is the accusation of being a “flip-flopper”. A reasonable, thinking person, would more correctly refer to this as, the intellectual ability to change ones own mind. In order to change ones mind, one must first have a thinking mind. I often imagine how much better off we’d be, if only Bush had a second thought, or two. Heck, I would have been ecstatic, if he even had one original thought! But, with all the arrogance he can muster, he continues to imply that God is on his side, as if by his executive order. Furthermore, the energy, environmental, and economic policies of the Republican party are anything but “conservative, and there’s nothing at all “patriotic” about the Patriot Act. As such, we would do well to let religion sit this one out, and permit logic and common sence to prevail. Before you go to the polls, take a refreshers glance through your Bible. Next, take a look in your heart. Then, in the quiet privacy of the voting booth, if you listen carefully, God, himself, will tell thou what to do. AMEN. Bigger Brother

This is not a typical year or a run-of-the-mill election. This is a time to vote for “damage control”, not just principals. While it is true that there are few differences between Bush and Kerry, there is one issue that is of paramount importance, which transcends all other issues It threatens the future integrity and effectiveness of our democracy, and the ability for 3rd parties to ever reach a level of prominence, or even threatens their future existence. It’s the Patriot Act. It’s flexibility and versatility permits it to be used to stifle any type of political activity or patriotic decention, that our government deems necessary. It’s more than 3000 pages were written in advance of 9/11, and was deliberately rushed through congress, without them even reading it first! It is planed to be further bolstered by an already drafted Patriot Act II, and it’s scheduled for a vote of PERMANENT extension, when it sunsets next year! Our system of “checks and balances” has been hi-jacked, and all 3 branches of government are now controlled by one party. John Kerry is the only veto power chance we have to render this devious legislation harmless to our liberties. A vote for Bush, or ANY other candidate who doesn’t have a serious chance of defeating him, is a vote for the permeant end to American democracy as we know it. There are plenty of future opportunities for 3rd parties to get their acts together and campaign in earnest, a third party victory is better late than never, but there’s ONLY ONE CHANCE yo defeat the Patriot Act, and that time is NOW!
