Los Angeles California: From New Line Cinema, the latest movie involving Scuba Diving arrived in theatres in time for Thanksgiving. “After the Sunset” (2004) is the story of what happens after a master thief achieves his last big score and an FBI agent is still obsessed with his capture. The film touts a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse starring Pierce Brosnan, Woody Harrelson and Salma Hayek.
Once again, my friend Stuart Cove of Stuart Cove’s Aqua Adventures provided a base of operations and logistical support for the movie’s marine and scuba sequences.
The cast and crew were mesmerized by the magic of Scuba Diving. They dove the wrecks of the Bahama Mama, Ray of Hope, Sea Viking, and The Steel Forest. Hayek dove with Cove on his Shark Adventure Dive teaching her how beautiful these misunderstood creatures are.
Brosnan was already a certified diver. Hayek, Brosnan's love interest in the film, and her celebrity friend Josh Lucas of "Sweet Home Alabama" (2002) decided to learn to dive together. Harrelson’s daughter found herself hooked on diving and became certified while her father was shooting the movie.
