Pods were fabricated for each side of the dash for an ADS 325is set. The pods were made from formica laminate, masonite, and fiberglass. (I was able to find red formica to match the vehicle's exterior color)

Here you can see a pod that is almost finished. They were spayed with an industrial strength contact cement, just before the charcoal vinyl was stretched over them.

Each door panel was removed from the car, and modified to fit ADS 8" midbass drivers.

Custom pods were fabricated on each door panel from fiberglass and MDF. They were later wrapped in a cloth material that I purchased from Oldsmobile. The cloth matched the seats, and the cloth on the upper door panel.

The entire dash was removed from the car to make room for the Sony Mobile ES display from my XES-P1. (The same display that I have in the truck)

When the dash was put back in place, I used a piece of smoked plexiglass to cover the display. The display is virtually invisible when it's off, and the smoked plexiglass matches the heater controls below, and the instument cluster to the left of it. (This is the same technique that I'm using in the truck)

This is the beginning of the aperiodic membrane enclosure for the 15" subwoofers.

Here you see the finished enclosure from the inside of the car with the rear seat removed.

This is a view of the enclosure with the membranes from the trunk.

The enclosure was fitted with linear actuators for the motorized amp rack.

The floor and trim panels were started next.

Structural pieces were fabricated to hold the components.

When finished, the floor held a trap door for access to the spare tire.

Vanity panels were fabricated, to finish the trunk.

The left side of the trunk, when finished, displays the power distribution for the system.

Five SoundStream Class A 6.0 Amplifiers were painted the same color as the exterior of the car, and installed in the trunk.
Here you can see two amps on the floor of the trunk, and three amps on the motorized amp rack.

Here the amp rack is in the up position.

The amp rack moving down.

Almost all the way down.

The amp rack in it's full down position.
