Girls: FINAL SCORE: 14 - 9; Wissahickon Win Wissahickon walked away from their second game of season with their first victory. With the entire bench seeing playing time, scoring was lead by Elaina Heller (junior) and Courtney Johnson (junior) with 4 goals each. Senior captain Lindsay O'Connor stopped 11 of 20 shots and Melissa Gilpin (senior, captain), Lauren Berry (senior), Antoinette High (senior), and Kristin Pickell (junior) each tallied one goal or more.

Boys: FINAL SCORE: 8 - 9; Wissahickon Loss Wissahickon now stands 0-2 as they lost their second contest of the year. After the conclusion of the third period, Wissahickon trailed the Patriots by 3 goals ( 3 - 6). With 25 seconds left in regulation the Trojans tied the score at 8 - 8 on a goal by Bill Krause. However, strong inside play on a last ditch toss up netted GA their victory and handed Wissahickon their second loss. Wissahickon goals were scored by Leo Draham (junior), Andrew KO (junior), Rich Ryan [2 goals] (junior), Tim Cakouros (junior), Chris High (senior, captain), and Bill Krause [2 goals] (junior). The Trojan squad was kept in the game by a breakout performance by Junior Goaltender Tom O'Connor (junior), stopping 17 of 26 shots.
