About the School

 The Seal of Okinawa

A symbol quickly recognized by those involved in traditional Karatedo. Legend bases its origin on an ancient master who was to be killed for sharing his skills with others. At his death, he pulled his 2 executioners into a vat of boiling oil with him... Hence, the 3 swirls...

When an individual dies for someone else, or for a noble cause, it certainly gets our attention. Such is the case with Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, the Creator of the universe. Humanity was lost in sin, but the Bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
