Some of the things I have done are
- design a beam control system for the Space Based Laser Readiness Demonstrator, a space flight high energy laser that will prove the concept of space based defense against theater and strategic missiles by destroying a missile in flight by a shot from space
- develop an automated system to measure absorption coefficients in low loss infrared window materials
- help develop an automated gain measurement system for high energy chemical lasers
- developed several computer codes:
- HEL engagement analysis to analyze time to negate a target, such as an enemy rocket
- wave optics propagation
- geometric optics ray trace analysis
- segmented optics and phased array optics analysis codes
- document database code
- data acquisition and analysis of medical xray calibration data
- codes for above automated systems
- code for piston loop control on the phased array concept study brassboard
- code to draw perspective hidden line renderings of houses based on blueprint drawing input
- develop a test and integration plan for THEL, the TRW tactical high energy laser system, being developed for the Israeli Ministry of Defense
- developed a Fast Steering Mirror on United Technologies IR&D funds
