The Dragon Shugenja: Kenada - He seems to like helping those on need. He promised the Lion CLan that he and his ragtag fugitive fleet would help them out in recovering a scroll that "it appears - we are not certain, but there is some evidence - that a memeber of tha Hare Clan, or a vassal of the Hare Clan, stole a valuable scroll from the Kitsu family." So SURE, they'd be happy to help out. Once they get to Castle Usagi (the Hare Clan castle), he then volunteers them to find the missing Clan Sword (missing 500 years in the Shadowlands). He decides the party should split up...he'll stay at the castle and look for the scroll while the rest of them go into the Shadowlands...not a bad deal for him. BUT, he was the one who promised the Usagi family they'd go look for the scroll...how can he stay behind and not appear cowardly to the beautiful Lady Tomoe? In a flash of brilliance, he decides he needs to be too injured to travel, but how to accomplish this? Simple. He insults Kozo. Something about Kozo being unable to control his temper and being low on self control.

The Ronin Bushi: Kozo - Sweating the fact that they are SO close to Scorpion lands(he and Lady Kachiko's nephew don't get along too well), Kozo's been a little touchy (we'll get to that in a bit). Anyway to continue...Kenada insults him. Publicly. So in a fit of rage Kozo practically cuts Kenada in half (proving Kenada's remark about him being brash. I bet he's glad he called that one right on the nose). So Kozo's been a little quick on the draw...everyone's walking softly around him right now. Did I mention a goblin woman offered to breed with him? Repeatedly?

The Phoenix Shugenja: Ahiro - Instrumental in retireving the sword from Hiruma Castle in the Shadowlands. He shook that place to its very foundation and managed to barbecue about 20 goblins while the others were entertaining themselves with the Ogres. He was very interested in seeing what would happen if Kozo did breed with the goblin woman. Anyway, they return to Usagi Castle to find Kenada has the scroll and is working on decipering it. Meanwhile, the Scorpions lay siege to the castle, because they too want this scroll. Well Ahiro confronts Lady Tomoe about the scroll, she explains the whole sordid tale of how they were just trying to help a friend out. And that it went missing,and that she thinks Kenada took it and he must be a Scorpion spy (she figured since he knew the scroll was in the castle he had to be, how else would he have known it was there?). Ahiro, not being able to speak an untrue word, opted to say nothing in Kenadas defense.

The Crane Bushi: Uji - Told the Scorpions "Ratlings made off with your scroll." Very diligent in keeping track of all the new people they meet, and kicked ass dueling during the siege of Usagi Castle.

The Ise Zumi: Okasu - Still Mad. Killed one of the Ogres with his bare hands. He also has a tendancy to wander off howling at things. He killed one of the Scorpions lieutenants in a duel, his bare hands against her blade. He's doing very well for an unarmed man.

The Moto Shugenja: Buta: Kicks butt during the sieges. He decided to take the Lady Tomoe at her word adn feels that Kenada is a Scorpion spy. Not the most compassionate man. First one to opt to execute Kenada as a traitor.
