Shosuro Youma's tale is a sad one. Born into the Shosuro family of the Scorpion Clan, he had the makings of a fine bushi. He surprised his family by taking up shugenja studies, learning the ways of magic. Things progressed for him quickly, until one day, for reasons unknown, he was banished from Scorpion lands. It was announced that he was now eta, unclean. And that any caught helping him in any way would suffer the same fate.

What he did to deserve such a fate is unknown, though wildley speculated at, throughout the Scorpion Courts.

He wandered the Empire, avoiding members of his former Clan, finally settling in Wasp territory where he won membership into the Minor Clan. Even though he is a Wasp Bounty Hunter now, he still practices his magic, relying on that more than his archery skill to bring in Outlaws.

It's been six months since he's been cast out of his home, and now he wanders the Empire in the company of Emerald Magistrates. He's been assigned by the Emerald Champion himself to accompany them in thier investigations. But they are unaware of his former status as a Scorpion, for he cast aside his family name and is known to them only as Youma the Wasp.
