At the Northwest Folklife Festival, mid-1980s, we find Peter "Pitman" McCracken and Bill Shepherd.	A fiddle workshop in the mid-1980s led by West Virginian Melvin Wine is in progress at the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes. Tim Hudson is locked in.

At a workshop at the 1992 Festival of American Fiddle Tunes, Chris Jong, Barb Zavon, Claudia Greene, and Carol Noyes enjoy the "Clyde and Bobby Show," featuring the "King of Fiddle Tunes," Clyde Davenport, and his straight man, Bobby Fulcher. Now, how many of you have ever seen Clyde smile?
	It's the Fiddle Tunes dining hall again, this time in 1996, with our daughter Mirabelle visiting with Mildred and Ralph Blizard.

Another Fiddle Tunes dining hall picture from 1996, this time of Alabama musicians Jim and Joyce Cauthen (that funny thing coming out of Jim's hat is a scratch on my original photo--sorry). Have you heard their band, Red Mountain White Trash, yet?	Uh, oh, is this a Seattle site visit from the National Council of Traditional Arts? Sort of. Joe and Cathy were in Washington and Idaho to do some recording and documentation and dropped by. You on the rec.music.county.old-time newsgroup may know him by Oldtime1@AOL.com.

If you walk around the Clifftop campgrounds enough, you are bound to run into some old friends. Here I am with Jenny Moody and her old man, Gary Hawk, a former bandmate of mine in the Radio Aces old time string band.
	A walk down to the basketball court and you find the campsites of other old friends, Bill Dillof and Paula Bradley, for example.
	Then stroll up to the Lodge and you find "newlyweds," the beaming and proud Wines of Copen, WV
Then you mosey on over to the healthy snack stand and you run into one of the motleyest crews imagineable: Geoff Seitz, Jim Nelson, Suzanne Girardot, Dave Landreth, Kerry Blech, and Robbie Ernhart.
