Bless Peterson earned the right to call herself a professional singer. At age 2, sang in front of more than thousands for her first singing contest. Since then she has captivated many audiences from Philippines to USA. Bless has had the opportunity to sing for many political campaigns sponsored by the Philippine Community for Pres. George Bush, Sr., Pres. Bill Clinton, Mayor Richard Daley, the late Mayor Harold Washington, Michael Dukakis & Rev. Jesse Jackson. She sang backup for Michael Bolton at Rosemont Horizon in New Years Eve in ’93 & has played in many large venues in Illinois, such as the Park West, Grant Park Petrillo Band Shell, Taste of Chicago’s Grant Park, Field Museum, Rizal Center & Navy Pier to name a few. Still now you can hear her on the Tom Joyner Morning Show & now an then on the Oprah Show. Bless has many studio recording experience in various original projects & commercial jingles. She has a BA in Columbia College in Music Performance / Vocalist. Played with Active Soul, Morris Chorus, Sam Cockrell & the Groove and HipBone. Bless’s vocal style ranges from Pop, Rock Rhythm and Blues & Jazz. Her vocal ranges from Alto to 1st Soprano. She possesses a very soulful sweet yet powerful voice that truly must be experienced. Her aspirations now are just to continue singing and utilize the gift God gave her. “I love looking at a person in the audience, to see that person’s reaction, a smile, a cry or excitement towards what I am singing, from there I know I’ve revealed my soul and that person sees the beauty inside me.” “Right there I know God is looking at with me feeling his love, there’s no better place.”
