Three brothers, (Edward, James, & John/Joshua) sailed from Wales to America, sometime before 1650, probably landing at Salem, MA. Edward Bliven was born in Wales ca. 1665, died 1718 in Westerly, RI. He sailed from Wales to Oyster Bay, Long Island in his own ship called the "Arabella" in 1684. This was his second trip from England.You can find more Bliven history in the following web pages.
