Anime

If you can't tell I do enjoy my Anime. No I am not a big Sailor Moon fan but I did think is was cute and this is definitely the place for it.

I grew up watching Astro Boy, Speed Racer, and The Star Blazers. Back then most kids that liked it referred to the cartoons as Japanimation, It wasn't until I was much older and shows like Robotech began surfacing in the US that my fervent interest in anime started. After moving back home from the service and going back to school one of my friends (between the two of us we were able to compile almost 12 hrs of the English dubbed Robotech.) introduced me to the Manga; Ranma½. I was hooked, I started buying some Ranma videos and a few others as time permitted.  He thought I was crazy for wanting the Dubbed version but I enjoyed them and my Japanese was even worse then then it is now.

I also found this new OAV series called Oh My Goddess! (Remember this was 1993). I got the subtitled version of this and also Bubblegum Crisis. Both are very good if you have never heard of them. I will not give you a synopsis of any of these series'. To many others have already done so and very well I might add. I will give you this link at the bottom though to check out all things Anime. From here you can locate any series. I do not recommend all Anime for everybody it runs the whole spectrum from PokéMon for kids to titles that should only be watched by adults late at night.
