Blu Mountain Kennel is located in Santa Rosa, California, USA. The owners are Pam Henry and Jim Henry. We Show and Breed AKC registered Old English Sheepdogs. Pam runs the Rescue program for Northern California.
2014 - Meghan completed her championship on Feb 23 and Bob completed his championship on May 4. Martina took Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Bred By at the 2014 OESCA National Specialty. Martina completed her Championship. Miranda is looking for her win.
2013 - Brody completed his championship on Jan 12 and Bowie completed her championship on Mar 16. Stella received her championship on Aug 24 with back to back 5 point majors. Megan, Bob and Miranda are looking for their wins.
2012 - Mary completed her championship on Apr 21 and Piper completed her championship on Aug 25.
2011 - Matilda completed her championship in 4 weekends with 3 5 point majors, 2 BOS and 2 group 4 before 1 year old.
2010 - Roxy completed her championship this year on Feb 21st. Toni completed her championship on May 30th.
2009 - Turner completed his championship this year on Aug 9th.
2008 - Morgan and Tucker completed their championships this year. Morgan completed on March 2nd. Tucker completed on June 20th. Congratulations Morgan and Tucker.
2007 - Ripley and Smokin' attended the Westminster Show in New York at Madison Square Garden on February 12-13. Smokin' received 3 more Best In Show awards in Denver His total is 56 as of May. As of May Ripley is #1 OES by breed points. Way to go Ripley. Ripley has taken his first Best in Show at the Santa Cruz KC on June 30. Congratulations Ripley and Jen. Junior has qualified for the Eukanuba Championship show in December from the Bred By Exhibitor class.
2006 - Sweetie completed her Championship on December 31. Cooper attended the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship's along with his brother Smokin'. Ch. Bugaboo's Big Resolution took the Herding Group. Congratulations Smokin'. Cooper, Ripley and Smokin' are all competing this year as Special's. All three have multiple BOB to-date. As of November, Smokin' has 37 Best In Show Wins. We are very proud of Cooper's brother, Colton, Hearther and the Bugaboo camp for their work. Smokin' and Ripley have made the Top 20 for 2006 and both are in the running for AKC/Eukanuba National Championship at Long Beach in December. Smokin' won the Top 20 and the National (first time ever won together by the same dog) and he also went BOB and Group 2 at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship in December. Ripley is the #3 OES. Smokin' is the #1 OES, #1 Herding Dog and #3 All Breed dog for 2006.
2005 - Great start for this year, Cooper went Best in Sweeps, Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed from the Bred by Exhibitors class at the OES Club of Greater Seattle in January and completed his Championship. Cooper has done very well as a young special, Multiple Group placements and has qualified for the OESCA 2005 Top 20. Cooper has been invited to the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship on January 13-14, 2006 in Tampa, Florida and qualified for the OESCA Top 20. Congratulations Cooper.
2004 - Cooper went Best Puppy the day after the 2004 National show at the Pittsburgh, PA specialty. Cody, Delilah, Ripley and Morgan earned their Championships.
2003 - Delilah went Winners Bitch, BOW at the 2003 National show in Olympia, WA. Berni, Sybil, Michael and Abby earned their Championships.
2002 - Clint, Andie and Tori earned their Championships.
2001 - Trevor went Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Breed at the Golden Gate Kennel Club on February 4 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Tori went Winners Bitch and Best Opposite at the same show.
2000 - Brandon has completed his Championship this January. Bailey completed his Championship in July.
1999- Fannie has completed her Championship in February. Roberta completed her Championship in July.
1998 - Cow Palace at San Francisco with a BOB for Dani. Grady received the only Award of Merit at the Westminister KC at Madison Square Gardens shown by our good friend Doug Johnson of Colorado Springs.
1997- Two champions in January (Annie & Grady). Grady got his title in 4 shows during 2 weekends (all majors). One Champion in April (Grayson). One Champion in May (Boo), finished with all majors. What a week, at the 1997 National Specialty held at Denver Co., Blu Mountain did well. Roberta went BOS in Sweeps. Dani went Winners Bitch for a 5 point Major. Grady(149) got an Award of Merit. Dani went Best of Winners at our Specialty for another 5 point Major. Roberta went Best in Sweeps. Check out the 1997 Specialty Results below. Dani completed her Championship with all MAJORS. Jilly completed her Championship in December rounding out the year with 6 Titles. Congratulations to all the Blu Mountain dogs and owners.
1996 - The puppies are from left to right (Nick, Robert, Watson-"Those PINK Boys"). Their pedigree is 6th generation Blu Mountain. Robert and Watson and Nick and their sister Nora have attained their Championship. That makes six this year, Pumpkin and Darci round out the BLU MOUNTAIN activities for 1996. Plus Misty and Randi each earned their ROM in 1996. Congratulations to all (Owners and Dogs).
1995 - Chloe on May 13, Watson on Nov 25 and Robert on Dec 9 all received their Championships.
1994 - Traci on Jan 30, Misty on Jul 16, and Corky on Jul 24 all received their Championships.
1993 - Hannah on Jul 25, and Roscoe on Nov 27 received their Championships.
1992 - Joey on Sep 4 received his Championship.
1991 - Bika on Jul 13 received her Championship.
1990 - Charlie on Apr 21, and Randi on May 27 received their Championships.
1989 - Justin on May 6, and Molly on Jul 16 received their Championships.
1986 - Treasure on Nov 22 received her Championship and CD.

Old English Sheepdog League of Northern California (OESLNC)
Established in 1967. OESLNC had it's first dog show (Specialty) in 1970. Current Club Officers conduct bi-monthly meetings throughout Northern California. The club publishes a quarterly newsletter (Bobtales).
OESLNC hosted it's 5th Annual ALL Breed Herding Trial.
