Riding lessons are an hour long.   Instruction includes learning how to properly groom and tack the horse.  In the lesson, students progressively learn how to walk, trot, canter and jump.  Riders are matched with horses according to riding ability.   There are group lessons for children and adults of all abilities. 

All riders are required to wear shoes with a low heel and a riding helmet. 

At the end of the riding season in November, there is a fun horse show for all New Boston Livery students.
