BOAK performed in the Polymnia Pops Concert
Blue of a Kind participated in the annual Polymnia Pops concert on Saturday June 9. The review of the concert in the Melrose Free Press
described our contribution in this fashion: "The popular Blue of a Kind, the group of a cappella men singers, offered a couple of standards
in top-notch harmony arranged by their founder, Bob Eggers, who directs and arranges their numbers. Now grown to about 18 members, they
project a soloist, here pleasing tenor Ed Fellenbaum, then add a background of wordless harmony on oos, highlighting the soloist.
A unique musical entity.". The full review of the concert is to be found
here.
BOAK helps to raise money for Bread of Life
Blue of a Kind participated in a fundraiser fro Bread of Life held at the First Congregational Church in Melrose. The co-deacons of the Mission at the

at the First Congregational Church. We raised an amazing $1370 that enabled the church to exceed our 2012 financial commitment to supporting
Bread of Life. Beyond the money, the concert was a terrific community that drew audience members from 2 months to 96 years in age!"
