| Vatican
City has immediate openings for
a Pope. The ideal candidate will
be under 90 years old. Some
religious leadership experience
would be nice, but we would be
willing to train the right
entry-level candidate. This
position requires that the
person NOT be claustrophobic as
you will be spending many hours
in a car that resembles a phone
booth. Being the Pope offers a
unique opportunity for the right
candidate. You will be
responsible for telling millions
of Catholics what is right and
wrong. This is not a
telemarketing position.
Candidates
will be brought through a
stringent interview process
involving the college of
Cardinals and some very strange
rituals. For a list of these
rituals, please read the DaVinci
Code.
You will be scrutinized under a
microscope, so if there are any
skeletons in your closet, you
may not want to apply.
However, the Church has been
known to sweep certain things
under the carpet.
You
can expect to live a life of
celibacy and public examination,
but you receive a nice hat and
robes for your effort. Meals are
included.
After
your death, you can be expected
to have no less than 13,000
people walk by your body to
bless you.
