With no formal training and no ambition to publish, Bob worked at writing every day for over 20 years before submitting any of his work for publication.

Today he is recognized as a “master of the short short,” and a “maestro of micro-fiction.” His work has received dozens of literary awards and citations, appeared in over 20 anthologies, and been utilized as teaching tools by schools and colleges. He has been called both “an emotional terrorist,” and “The Sam Peckinpah of Flash Fiction.”

He lives in Massachusetts where, despite vision loss, he still writes every day though he rarely seeks publication.
